ANTIQUE – Two died and one was in critical condition after their motorcycle crashed into an electrical pole in Barangay Poblacion, Belison, Antique around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 2.
Radny Pareño Verayon, 21, married, and April John Bosimi, 27, both residents of the place, were declared “dead on arrival” at the Angel Salazar Memorial General Hospital (ASMGH) in San Jose de Buenavista town.
John Lee Pagsuguiron Pahamutang, 16, of Barangay Ipil, Belison, was being treated at the ASMGH as of this writing.
Verayon, the motorcycle driver, drove straight ahead in a blind curve, according to the Belison Municipal Police Station.
The three were under the influence of alcohol after coming from a baptism and were not wearing helmets, the police added./PN
