BACOLOD City – A 21-year-old resident of Barangay Tapi, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental died in a vehicular crash.
Sharon Villarez was driving a motorcycle that collided head-on into a cargo truck on Thursday, police said.
The incident occurred at around 1:30 a.m. on corner Guanzon Street-Mabinay Road, Barangay 1, Kabankalan City.
Villarez was heading to Barangay Binicuil, Kabankalan City at the time, police said.
She sustained injuries on the body. She was taken to the Kabankalan City District Hospital where the attending physician, Dr. Dexter Lopez, pronounced her “dead on arrival.”/PN
