ILOILO City – A 55-year-old woman died after she was hit by a motorcycle in Barangay Vista Alegre, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo.
Daisy Gallener of Barangay San Francisco, Barotac Viejo died of head and body injuries, a police report showed.
She was taken to the Barotac Viejo District Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
A 16-year-old was driving the motorcycle that hit Gallener who was trying to cross a street at around 10:40 a.m. on Sunday, stated the police report.
The Barotac Viejo police station took the minor motorcycle driver in custody./PN
