ILOILO – A motorcycle crashed against a wing van along the national road in Barangay Tinampaan, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental. One person died, and another sustained injuries.
Motorcycle driver Jerry Gilarman, 26, was rushed to the hospital but was later pronounced dead. His passenger, Stephanie Olila, 28, is currently recuperating.
Both were residents of Cadiz City.
According to Cadiz City police, the two were followed closely by the wing van driven by Reggie Baroa, 41, of Talisay City in Negros Occidental on Monday night, Dec. 4.
The motorcycle was about to make a turn when it went unnoticed by the wing van driver, resulting in a collision./PN
