ILOILO City – She could not think of a reason why someone would throw a stone at her.
The 31-year-old Excy Buenavista of Barangay Caingin, La Paz district was wounded on the lower part of her left ear.
Buenavista reported to the police that she sustained the injury at around 4 p.m. Tuesday while driving a motorcycle on Jereos Street, La Paz toward the public plaza in the district.
Someone threw a stone at her but she did not know why, she told the police.
A police report identified the alleged stone thrower as the 20-year-old Mil Anthony Altas of Barangay Nabitasan, La Paz.
Altas cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
Buenavista was referred to the West Visayas State University Medical Center in Jaro for the treatment of her wound.
