BACOLOD City – A motorcycle driver died after hitting a parked cargo truck in Kilometer 21, EB Magalona town on Thursday night.
Manny Gallardo, 29, of Barangay San Jose and his sisters were heading back home on his motorcycle when they hit the parked cargo truck.
Manny sustained head and body injuries.
He was rushed to the Teresita Jalandoni Memorial Provincial Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
His sisters Lydia Gallardo, 18, and Rachel De la Vega, 28 also had injuries.
They were treated at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital here.
The cargo truck had mechanical problem and parked on the road without warning signs.
