ILOILO – A six-year-old girl was hit by a motorcycle in Barangay Balantad-Carlos Fruto, Guimbal.
“Xynel” was declared “dead upon arrival” at the town’s hospital.
The motorcycle driver was Alex Castañares Jr., 27, of Barangay Girado-Magsaysay, Guimbal.
“Ang mag amay bago lang kapanaog sa tricycle nga mapauli sa ila balay. Pagtabok sa karsada nauna ang bata sa amay kag gulpi lang nabungguan sang naga-motor,” said Captain Felice Dioso, Guimbal chief of police.
“According sa driver [Castañares], samtang gamaneho siya kampante siya kay clear man ang dalan,” Dioso added.
The police are awaiting the family’s decision as to whether charges will be filed./PN
