ILOILO City – He was crossing the road when a motorcycle hit him.
The 69-year-old Wildredo Solis sustained injuries on the body, police said. He received treatment at the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district.
Police reports showed a motorcycle driven by 30-year-old Mar Jhon Deximo of Barangay Badiang, New Lucena, Iloilo hit Solis while he was crossing the road around 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 31.
The suspect was arrested and now detained in the lockup cell of the New Lucena police station, facing charges./PN
