BACOLOD City – The motorcycle he was driving bumped into a parked truck along the national highway in Hacienda Ricky, Barangay Paraiso, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
The 26-year-old Joebert Aguilar of Hacienca San Agustin, also in the village, died, a police report showed.
Aguilar sustained head and body injuries after falling off his Honda XRM motorcycle around 6 p.m. on Monday, the report further stated.
He was rushed to the Lopez District Farmers’ Foundation Hospital in Sagay City where the attending physician pronounced him “dead on arrival.”
The driver of the Mitsubishi Fuso Prime Mover truck was the 44-year-old Roland Roblesa of Escalante City, Negros Occidental.
Roblesa surrendered to the nearby security guards who later turned him over to the Sagay City police./PN
