ILOILO – In Barangay Naslo, Pototan, 83-year-old Prisca Porras lost her life after being hit by a motorcycle.
The motorcycle driver was identified as 22-year-old Nilbert Paguntalan Jr. from the town’s Barangay Palanguia.
According to Police Staff Sergeant Amando Caporal, an investigator at the Pototan Municipal Police Station, Paguntalan was on his way from work as a security guard when the incident took place. The elderly Porras was crossing the road.
Despite immediate medical attention, Porras was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
Meanwhile, Paguntalan sustained injuries and is currently receiving treatment./PN
