ILOILO City – The motorcycle he was driving hit a dump truck on Rizal Street, Pototan, Iloilo.
The 40-year-old Mariano Patosa of Barangay Igang, Pototan sustained fatal injuries on the head, a police report showed.
He was rushed to the Iloilo Provincial Hospital in the said town where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival,” it added.
According to police investigation, the incident happened around 5:40 a.m. on Dec. 21.
Sultan was navigating the road in high speed when he crashed against the dump truck driven by Cecelio Solido, 52, of Barangay Mina West, Mina, Iloilo.
Solido voluntarily turned himself in to the Pototan police station./PN
