BACOLOD City – Felomina Sevilla was trying to cross a national highway in their village when a motorcycle hit her.
The 64-year-old resident of Barangay Calumangan, Bago City, Negros Occidental died, said the police.
Sevilla was taken to the Bago City Hospital where the attending physician, Dr. Jesus Rey Pasilan, pronounced her “dead on arrival.” She died of body injuries.
The crash happened at around 6:10 p.m. on Tuesday.
The driver of the Yamaha motorcycle, Jonas Tolido Lapatan – a 45-year-old resident of the same village – was detained at the municipal police station./PN
