ILOILO – A police officer got injured. While investigating a vehicular accident in Barangay Tiring, Cabatuan, Iloilo on Christmas Day, a motorcycle hit him.
Police Staff Sergeant Jasper Canto, 35, of Cabatuan police station sustained a left foot injury. He was treated at the Ramon Tabiana Memorial District Hospital in Barangay Pungtod, Cabatuan.
The motorcycle that hit him around 8:20 p.m. was driven by a certain Boyet Penado, a police report showed.
The motorcycle did not stop, the police report added.
The Cabatuan police launched a manhunt against Penado./PN
