ILOILO City – Severe head and body injuries led to the death of a 75-year-old man in Barangay Malayu-an, Ajuy, Iloilo.
While crossing the road, Rudy Antong was hit by a motorcycle driven by a 17-year-old lad on April 11 around 7 p.m.
Police said the motorcycle dragged Antong’s body some 20 meters from the spot where the old man was hit.
The young motorcycle driver and his back rider, cousin Leomar Banaban of Barangay Bay-ang, Ajuy, fell from the vehicle, too, and were injured.
They were detained at the Ajuy police station./PN
