ILOILO City – A senior citizen was hit by a motorcycle in Barangay Luca, Ajuy, Iloilo, police said.
The 70-year-old Eddie Azucena of the same village died of head injuries.
He was pronounced dead at the Don Ramon Tugbang Medical Center in Barotac Viejo town.
Azucena was standing along the road at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday when the motorcycle hit him, a police report showed.
The 28-year-old Francis Albert Sarayno of Alta Tierra Village in Jaro district was driving the vehicle, police said.
Sarayno was detained in the custodial facility of the Ajuy police station./PN
