ILOILO City – A motorcycle and a pickup owned by the Department of Public Works and Highways collided in Barangay Bolong Oeste, Santa Barbara, Iloilo.
Tuesday’s crash landed 30-year-old Regie Gole at the Santa Barbara Rural Health Unit.
Gole – resident of Barangay Poblacion Ilaya, Tapaz, Capiz – sustained injuries on the body.
Meanwhile, the pickup driver, Antonio Ortigosa, 39, of Melliza Street, Zarraga, Iloilo, was unharmed.
According to the police, the incident happened at around 9 a.m. It was unclear what circumstance led to the crash as of this writing.
Ortigoza was brought to the Zarraga police station./PN
