HAMTIC, Antique – A motorcycle rider died in Barangay Villavert-Jimenez here on Saturday evening, May 22.
At around 10:45 p.m., the 32-year old Kimberly Fernan Naranjo, a security guard and resident of San Isidro Street, Barangay 1, San Jose, Antique, was driving a motorcycle from San Joaquin, Iloilo to San Jose town when the motorcycle crashed into a concrete sight triangle at an intersection.
Naranjo sustained fatal injuries to the neck and body.
The victim was wearing a helmet and responding rescuers said there were no signs of intoxication.
Naranjo was taken to the Angel Salazar Memorial General Hospital in San Jose where he was declared “dead on arrival”. /PN
