
SAN JOSE, Antique – A delivery boy of a water refilling station was gunned down by two motorcycle-riding gunmen in Barangay Cubay South, Bugason town.
The 23-year-old Aljun Sadje was driving a blue top-down tricycle on the national highway when the suspects shot him at around 5:45 p.m. on Oct. 3, a police report showed.
Sadje sustained a gunshot wound on his back. The victim lost control of his vehicle and fell into a drainage canal.
He was rushed to the Bugasong Medicare Community Hospital but the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
Police investigators were able to recover a spent bullet of a .45-caliber gun about 30 meters from the victim’s body.
Meanwhile, a police hot pursuit operation was launched by the authorities against the unidentified suspects. They have yet to determine the motive in the shooting as well./PN
