BACOLOD City – Police were still identifying the suspect in fatally shooting a man in Hacienda San Ramon, Barangay Guimbala-on, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
The man was identified as the 30-year-old resident Randy Modesto, a police report showed.
Modesto was driving a motorcycle around 8:15 p.m. on Saturday when he was shot, the report further stated.
Modesto sustained a gunshot wound on the head. He was rushed the Teresita Lopez Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City but later transferred to the Our Lady of Mercy Specialty Hospital in Bacolod City.
Attending physician Dr. Arnel Jomayao pronounced Modesto dead at around 11 p.m. on the same day.
