ANTIQUE – A 61-year-old man was declared dead upon arrival at the Ramon Maza Sr. Memorial District Hospital.
Motorcycle driver Cezar Obaldo died of head and body injuries. He was a resident of Barangay Cubay Sermon, Sibalom.
Obaldo was about to transfer lane in Barangay Catungan I, Sibalom, around 11:40 a.m. on Thursday when the pickup driven by Annile Loverez, 45, of Barangay Catmon, Sibalom, tried to overtake, according to the Sibalom Municipal Police Station (MPS).
Ubaldo’s six-year-old granddaughter sustained minor injuries and was taken by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office to the Ramon Maza Sr. Memorial District Hospital, too.
Loverez would shoulder the burial and hospital expenses of the victims./PN
