ILOILO – The driver of a motorcycle landed in the hospital after he was hit by a car yesterday morning in Barangay Cahaguichican, Pototan town.
Police identified the victim as “Rey”, 52, and the car driver as “Eugene,” 33 and a resident of Barangay Tap-oc, Molo, Iloilo City.
According to Police Major Jose Rey Pabalan, chief of the Pototan Municipal Police Station (MPS), when Rey was about to make a U-turn, he was accidentally hit by Eugene’s car.
Rey sustained head injury and was brought to the Iloilo Provincial Hospital in Pototan.
Pabalan said Eugene was taken into custody by the Pototan MPS for proper disposition./PN
