AKLAN – A 45-year-old man collapsed while riding his motorcycle along Jaime Cardinal Sin Avenue in Barangay Andagao, Kalibo town, allegedly due to extreme heat.
In an interview with alias “Caloy” he was on his way to Kalibo Shopping Center on Friday morning, April 4, when he suddenly felt dizzy. He also disclosed that he has high blood pressure and is taking maintenance medication.
Authorities suspected that Caloy may have lost consciousness due to the hot weather.
The town’s emergency responders immediately assisted him and brought him to Aklan Provincial Hospital.
Meanwhile, the motorist appealed to bystanders who may have recorded the incident not to upload the footage online.
He also clarified that he does not blame the rescuers after he accidentally fell from the stretcher, emphasizing that it was an accident./PN
