ILOILO City – A man died after he figured in a vehicular crash in Barangay Lanit, Jaro district.
Aside fomt he head and body injuries he got from the crash, the 43-year-old Michael Tabuada of Barangay Tacas, Jaro also sustained a gunshot wound on the hip, which he got after his .38-caliber revolver accidentally went off.
The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, a police report showed.
Tabuada was driving a motorcycle when he crashed against an owner-type jeep driven by the 53-year-old Lanit resident Hernand Indico.
Tabuada was brought to the West Visayas State University Medical Center where he expired.
Indico, on the other hand, was placed under the custody of the Jaro police station./PN
