ILOILO City – In Barangay Vizcaya, President Roxas, Capiz, a motorist died in a road crash, a police report showed.
The 59-year-old resident Winley Villariña sustained head and body injuries, it added.
According to the police, Villariña was driving his motorcycle when a roll-on, roll-off truck driven by the 55-year-old Bonifacio Guarana of San Carlos City, Negros Occidental crashed against him at around 9 a.m. on July 9.
Villariña was dragged 30 meters away from where the collision happened, police said.
