ILOILO City – A mountain bike worth P25,000 was stolen.
According to owner Alex Ledonio of Witrap Village, Barangay Hibao-an Norte, Mandurriao district, his bicycle was painted white.
It was stolen on Jan. 5, said Ledonio, and he discovered the thievery around 6:30 a.m.
As of this writing, no suspect was named.
A mountain bike is designed for off-road cycling. It shares similarities with other bikes but incorporates features designed to enhance durability and performance in rough terrain.
These typically include suspension on the frame and fork, large knobby tires, more durable heavy duty wheels, more powerful brakes, and lower gear ratios needed for steep grades with poor traction./PN
