Multiple wanted persons arrested

ILOILO – The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) has apprehended several most wanted individuals in Western Visayas.

The Regional Mobile Force Battalion 6 (RMFB6), 606th Company (Lead Unit), captured the Top 10 most wanted person of Iloilo province on Jan. 9 in Barangay Alibunan, Calinog, Iloilo.

The suspect, known as “Brian”, was wanted for violations of the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act and the Cybercrime Prevention Act. The total bail recommended was P212,000.

Another arrest, involving “Junlen”, was made for robbery with violence and intimidation in Binalbagan, Negros Occidental, with no bail recommended. The operation was a collaboration between the Binalbagan Municipal Police Station and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Aklan field unit.

In Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental, the most wanted individual for rape was apprehended by the Himamaylan police force. The arrest was supported by the RMFB6, 604 MC, and Bacolod City MARPSTA. No bail was recommended.

In Iloilo City, the city’s Top 8 most wanted person, “Kano”, was arrested for murder by the Tracker Team of the Iloilo City Police Station 6. The operation was carried out at Zone 15, Barangay Calaparan, Arevalo district. No bail was recommended for the suspect’s temporary liberty.

“Maximo”, wanted for sex crimes in Valenzuela City (Metro Manila), was apprehended in Bacolod City. He faces charges of sexual abuse through lascivious conduct and rape, with some counts having no bail recommended.

The Sagay City Police Station, along with RMFB6, 605MC, and the 2nd Mobile Platoon, arrested “Ginamos” for frustrated murder, with a bail of P200,000 recommended.

PRO-6 director Police Brigadier General Sidney Villaflor praised the dedication of the operatives and the support of the public in these successful operations. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between law enforcement and the community in apprehending law offenders.

“Magtulungan po tayo, pulisya at mamamayan, sa pagtugis ng mga may pananagutan sa batas, at para mabigyang hustisya ang naging biktima ng krimen,” said Villaflor./PN
