BACOLOD City – Suspects riding in tandem fatally shot a man in Purok Wawa, Barangay Amayco, Murcia, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Police were still identifying who were responsible for killing the 57-year-old habal-habal driver Efraem Llamado of Barangay Pandanon Silos, Murcia.
The shooting happened around 8:10 a.m. on Monday, police said.
Llamado was drinking coffee in a coffee stall near the road when two suspects on board a black motorcycle fired at him.
Llamado sustained gunshot wounds on the body, which resulted to his death, police said.
Recovered from the crime scene were several empty shells of a .45-caliber firearm.
Police have yet to determine the motive in the shooting. They were still locating the suspects, who fled after the incident./PN
