BACOLOD City – A laborer was hacked in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
The 25-year-old Anesito Cacas sustained hack wounds on the body, a police report showed.
Police identified the suspect as 48-year-old Ronilo Aguirre of Barangay Cabatangan, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
According to police investigators, Cacas and Aguirre have a heated argument around 6 p.m. on Sept. 21.
This prompted Aguirre to hack Cacas, police said.
Cacas was brought to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in this city for treatment. Officers of the Murcia municipal police station conducted a manhunt operation against Aguirre, who fled after the incident./PN
