Murcia hacking suspects identified

BACOLOD City – Police have identified the two suspects in hacking a man to death in Barangay Blumentritt, Murcia, Negros Occidental.

They were Jerry Constantino of Victorias City, Negros Occidental and Barangay Blumentritt resident Jerry Hernaiz, according to investigators.

Constantino and Hernaiz were accused to have a hand in killing the 55-year-old Uldarico Garfil Jr. of Barangay Minoyan, Murcia.

Garfil, a former paramilitary, sustained hack wounds on the different parts of the body and was left near the boundary of Bacolod City and Murcia on Tuesday.

His body was found past 9 a.m. that day, according to the police.

Police were still locating Constantino and Hernaiz as of this writing./PN
