BACOLOD City – A business establishment lost thousands of pesos in cash to robbers.
Police were still trying to identify who barged into Green Harvest Go Food, Inc.
The establishment in Barangay Blumentritt, Murcia, Negros Occidental lost P180,000 cash, according to the municipal police station.
Three men destroyed the establishment’s door to gain entry at around 2:30 a.m. Sunday. One of them was wielding a short firearm, police said, citing initial investigation.
Aside from the cash, the culprits also took the service firearm – a .38 revolver – of the security guard on duty.
Police withheld the name of the security guard.
