BACOLOD City – The Top 3 most wanted person in the municipality of Manapla in Negros Occidental was shot in Barangay Alangilan here.
Police said Jumar Marcelino tried to hack the cop who was about to serve him an arrest warrant for murder.
The murder suspect and fugitive was armed with a bolo and resisted arrest.
Police Staff Sergeant Jonathan Panisa, in self-defense, shot Marcelino at around 10 a.m. on Dec. 15.
The fugitive was declared “dead on arrival” at the Metro Bacolod Hospital./PN
