ILOILO City – One of the two suspects in the killing of a 16-year-old rape suspect in Barangay Alabidhan, Bingawan, Iloilo on Sept. 9 has been named.
A murder case was filed against Cocky Dalupines of Barangay Dalagsaan, Libacao, Aklan before the Iloilo Provincial Prosecutor’s Office on Monday, according to Police Lieutenant Martin Pogales, chief of the Bingawan police station.
Dalupines remained at large together with his 10-year-old cousin who was a resident of Alabidhan, Pogales said.
“We did not file the case against the other suspect because he was a minor. He disappeared after the incident. The family believed he was with Dalupines,” Pogales said.
Victim Ian Adorable was found in a corn field with stab wounds at the back and two stab wounds on the chest. His throat was slashed.
