BACOLOD City – Facing murder charges, a man was arrested in Barangay Balaring, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
The 32-year-old Renante Magasar was a resident of Barangay Katilingban, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Magasar was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 7:20 a.m. on April 19, a police report showed.
Judge Gorgonio Ybañez of the Regional Trial Court Branch 48 in Bacolod City issued the arrest warrant on Jan. 26, 2010.
The suspect was detained in the custodial facility of the Talisay City police station.
The court has not set a bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
