ILOILO City –Police arrested a murder suspect in Barangay Manlacbo, Valderama, Antique.
The 49-year-old Alkhrite Marcelo had been hiding from authorities for about 24 years, a police report showed.
Marcelo – resident of the village – was nabbed on the strength of an arrest warrant around 12 p.m. on Tuesday, the report added.
He was detained in the custodial facility of the Valderama police station
The court recommended no bail bond for Marcelo’s temporary liberty./PN
