ILOILO City – Arnel Lozada was wanted for a murder charge.
Police arrested him on Thursday in Barangay Pandac, Pavia, Iloilo where he also lived.
Officers served Lozada a warrant of arrest at 3 p.m. Thursday, a police report showed.
The court did not set a bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty. Murder is non-bailable offense.
Lozada was taken to the Pavia police station.
TRUCK IMPOUNDED
Still in Pavia, a truck has been impounded on suspicion that it was carrying illegally quarried sand.
The truck (plate number TFW-203) was driven by John Carlo Cervales of LJ Ledesma Subdivision, Jaro district.
Cervales failed to show a permit to quarry when asked by police, another police report stated.
Officers thus impounded his vehicle at 10:30 a.m. in Barangay Ungka II, Pavia, stated the police report./PN
