ILOILO City – Charged with murder, a man was nabbed in Barangay Lawigan, San Joaquin, Iloilo.
The 48-year-old Fante Balwarte has been hiding from the police for about two years.
Balwarte – resident of Vitas, Tondo, Manila but temporarily resides in Barangay Lawigan – was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 18, a police report showed.
The suspect was brought to the San Joaquin police station, where he was detained.
No bail bond was recommended for Balwarte’s temporary liberty./PN
