BACOLOD City – Charged with murder, a man was arrested in Barangay 2, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
He was the 28-year-old Jerome “Jimby” Villanueva of Barangay 6, San Carlos City, a police report showed.
According to San Carlos City police head Superintendent D’ Artagnan Katalbas Jr., Villanueva faces a murder charge before the Regional Trial Court Branch 59 in San Carlos City.
Villanueva was caught around 7:30 a.m. on Sunday at the YM Business Inn on the strength of an arrest warrant that Judge Katherine Go issued on March 19, 2018.
Villanueva was detained at the San Carlos City police station lockup facility.
The court did not recommend a bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
