ILOILO City – Two men wanted for murder have been arrested in Capiz.
Melecio Semino, a 59-year-old resident of Barangay Mahunod-hunod, Cuartero town, was arrested at around 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
Joint forces from the police stations in Cuartero and Sigma served him a warrant of arrest in the village.
Judge Ignacio Alajar of the Regional Trial Court Branch 20 issued the warrant on Nov. 20, 2011 yet. He did not recommend a bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty.
Semino was detained at the Capiz Rehabilitation Center in Barangay Lawaan, Roxas City.
On the same day in Barangay Pawa, Panay, the 35-year-old Edison Blasurca was caught.
Municipal police officers served Blasurca, a resident of Barangay Bunga, Panay, a warrant of arrest at around 11 a.m.
No bail bond has been set for his temporary liberty.
