ILOILO City – A man accused of attempted murder was caught in Barangay Managupa, Banate, Iloilo.
Police identified him as the 43-year-old Rowe “Onyok” Fernandez of Barangay Alibayog, Sara, Iloilo.
Fernandez was nabbed around 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 16 on the strength of an arrest warrant the court issued in relation to Criminal Case No. 2004-2452 that he faces.
Joint elements from the municipal police stations of San Rafael and Barotac Viejo staged the arrest.
Fernandez was detained at the San Rafael police station lockup facility.
A P120,000 bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
