ILOILO City – A frustrated murder suspect, who had been hiding from the police for about 29 years, was arrested in Barangay Poblacion, Dueñas, Iloilo.
The 57-year-old Oscar Jaruda of Barangay Hinactacan, La Paz district was nabbed on the strength of an arrest warrant around 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday, a police report showed.
He was detained in the custodial facility of the La Paz police station.
The court recommended a P200,000 bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty./PN
