ILOILO City – It was a scene plucked from a rundown primetime television show plot.
His brother came home drunk and started threating their family, the 47-year-old May Prado of VML Subdivision, Barangay North Fundidor, Molo district reported to the police.
“Puta kamo, pangpamatyon ta kamo tanan di! Sunugon ko ni balay para mabal-an niyo,” Prado quoted the 49-year-old Rafael Solis as saying while holding a bottle of beer.
Prado, in a police report, stated that was just among the expletives and threats that Solis blurted at around 11 p.m. on Feb. 20.
The following day, at around 7 a.m., Solis was still unruly and continued to shout threats at the family, and tried to harm their father, Arturo Silos Sr., Prado told the police.
Prado said the incident caused “fear and anxiety” to the entire family.
Solis cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
Police referred the dispute to the barangay lupon./PN
