Clinking wine glasses —

The sound of love

Can be subtle. (#135)

*

This, too, is love —

The sound of two plates

As I wash them. (#136)

*

Sound of plates —

I wash the dishes;

You kiss me hard. (#137)

*

Broken faucet —

I can’t stop love

Dripping for you. (#138)

*

Broken record —

There are many ways

Of falling in love. (#139)

*

Cooking with wine —

I always think of him,

Who’ll enjoy my dinner. (#140)

*

Chocolate dessert —

I will keep eating them

Until your kisses stop me. (#141)

*

Last bite of dessert —

Where there is unselfishness,

There is love. (#142)

*

Kitchen dance —

You and I, cutting vegetables

Like we are married. (#143)

*

Kitchen knife —

I think of my heart

As you slice the tomatoes. (#144)

*

Tomato halves —

Because you kiss me,

I think they’re gorgeous. (#145)

*

Purple onions —

Because you chopped them,

I think they’re sweet. (#146)

*

Garlic, tomatoes, and onions —

You think of everything

Before saying “I love you.” (#147)

*

Garlic, tomatoes, and onions —

When you say “I love you”,

They mingle into a kiss. (#148)

*

Kitchen kiss —

Among the pots and kettles,

I am the shiniest. (#149)

*

Wine while we cook —

Before the chicken is done,

We are done with dinner. (#150)

*

Lovers and cooks —

Every dish is perfect

With a magic kiss. (#151)

*

If you cannot cook,

At least, kiss me

While I cook. (#152)

*

Kitchen aromas —

You talk about them;

I smell them, too. (#153)

*

Kitchen flavors —

I like it when you lick

Things off my finger. (#154)

*

Chopping onions —

I know I will forgive you

Before dinner is served. (#155)

*

Kitchen love —

I will always remember you

In chopped onions. (#156)

*

Chopping onions —

It’s not your tears,

But the crying onions. (#157)

*

Bleeding tomatoes —

I see my heart next to yours

In a sauce pan. (#158)
