NADIA Montenegro confirmed Baron Geisler is the father of her 17-year-old daughter, Sophia.
On Friday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Nadia said Sophia is turning 18 next month and that she’s sharing this to “put an exclamation to everything.”
“Tito Boy, 17 years ago, may isiniwalat ang isang tao tungkol sa buhay ko na I don’t think naman anybody has the right kasi nung time na ‘yon, Tito Boy, inaayos ko lahat. Hindi man lang kinonsider 17 years ago kung ano ang pinagdadaanan ko, ng mga anak ko, kung anong puwedeng mawala sa akin,” she said.
According to Nadia, the same thing is happening again today, with everybody is “feasting on something I did 17 years ago.”
“That’s why sabi ko, Tito Boy, this is my mistake. Kung nagkamali man ako — I don’t even want to call it a mistake,” she said, as Nadia called her daughter the most beautiful girl one could ever meet inside and out, and that she’s been through so much.
Nadia revealed Sophia has always known Baron was her real father, and that they have always been in contact, with Baron promising his daughter that they could meet but no one else can know about it.
According to Nadia, the meeting between Baron and Sophia did not happen because of the drunk messages Baron would send Sophia.
Seemingly referring to Baron, Nadia astoundingly asked, “You came out in an interview all of a sudden without even asking us?”
During the interview, Tito Boy recalled how Baron previously granted an interview with Ogie Diaz, where he revealed he has another child.
Nadia said she knew he was referring to them, even though he did not name anyone.
Admitting they were affected by it, Nadia said Sophia was bullied at school, with someone posting a photo of Baron while in jail on the student council page, asking “Kaninong tatay ‘to?”
“I want this to end because my daughter’s turning 18 soon, and she does not need to come out of this world and answer questions for her mother,” she said.
Nadia also said that her late partner, Boy Asistio, knew about it, but his only request was to not tell Sophia until he’s gone. (GMA Integrated News)
