EVEN Nadine Lustre’s boyfriend, Christophe Bariou, is not taking a netizen’s vile comment against his girlfriend lightly.
Bariou re-posted Lustre’s earlier Instagram Story that included a screenshot of one @juncarzcruz who left the comment, “Sana ma-r*p* ka ng adik,” in the actress’ recent post, where she was posing sweetly with the former.
In his caption, the French-Filipino entrepreneur lamented the vulgar remark against Lustre, writing, “Imagine if your girlfriend, wife, sister, mother or daughter were publicly threatened with r*p* simply for expressing her opinion. How would you react?”
In a separate Instagram Story, Bariou shared a screenshot of another comment from the same basher that reads, “Thanks people for sharing your thoughts. Trigger kayo masyado. Last na ‘yang Nadine niyo. Sana ma-r*p* ‘yan with slow mo para ramdam.”
Bariou condemned the remark, writing, “So much for Women’s month.”
Lustre initially called out the netizen’s crass comment, by describing it as one of the things that “didn’t pass the vibe check.”
While the basher did not indicate the reason for their hatred against the actress, Lustre, who’s always been vocal about her political stance, previously made headlines after reacting to the arrest of former president Rodrigo Duterte on the order of the International Criminal Court (ICC) for his crimes against humanity in related to his war on drugs.
The “Uninvited” actress also recently endorsed the party-list group Mamamayang Liberal and its first nominee Leila De Lima for the May 2025 mid-term elections.
