ILOILO City – Under the joyous green and orange buntings last Saturday was an undoubtedly contagious energy, and it was all because of the National Camella Day (NCD) in Iloilo. This special day held in Vista Mall Iloilo last August 18 was in line with Camella’s 40th anniversary.
The event opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony led by six Camella officials: Genevie Gregorio (Area Manager of Globaland), Michael Moyaga (Vista Mall Operation Head), Lily Donasco (Division Head of Camella Visayas Palawan), Paula Agront (President of Savannah Crest), Henny Lenore Elmar (Camella Condo Homes Head), and Marivic Amarillo (Vista Land Relations Head).
When the ribbon was cut, the well-known Dinagyang performer, Tribu Panayanon danced to the beat of the drums as confetti fell to the ground.
Homeowners of Camella also enjoyed the day as they got to share all the fun with everybody else. Even those who don’t live in Camella homes were invited and qualified for registration. Also, no matter where you are in the world you can have the virtual NCD experience at the Camella Chillout Session where guests are interviewed live, and keeps the online world updated on what’s going on with the event.
Kids from Mandurriao public schools were also invited to meet Lessandra’s newest mascot, Esang. Their eyes twinkled as they watched Esang dance on stage. Then, the magic show that followed captivated these little ones.
The real magical moment though was when Camella and Georgia Academy gave gifts to the children. Kindness and generosity filled the atmosphere during this moment. The children felt really grateful when they received Camella’s presents.
One of these children was Febby Ann Datiles, a Grade 6 student of Mandurriao Elementary School, who said that she is so thankful to Camella, and hopes there will be more similar events like this that she can attend in the future.
DEAFENING FUN WITH BOYBANDPH
From morning until night, the level of energy didn’t waver. Different activities kept the guests entertained. Camella’s Got Talent showcased the talents of Camella home owners. The afternoon’s dancing competition was filled with performers who took the stage by storm with their cool choreography. There were also raffle draws throughout the day, handing over prizes like AllHome giftchecks, Android phones, Coffee Project Vouchers, and many more!
NCD in Iloilo ended with a blast as BoybandPH took over the stage with their all-out performances that pumped up the already wild crowd. Their singing in sync with their dancing made the screams even louder. Fans sang along, shouted their names, and waved their banners to show their support.
They added, “Thank you so much Camella for having us at sa mga opportunities na palagi kaming nagpe-perform. Sobrang natutuwa kami at sobrang blessed din namin kaya energetic kaming mag perform.”
They thank their Ilonggo fans for their support before greeting everyone with a very enthusiastic “Happy National Camella Day!”
A PLACE FOR EVERYBODY
Camella being the largest homebuilder in the Philippines continue to provide quality yet affordable housing opportunities. No wonder it is highly recommended by its own homeowners. Alfred Barrios said, “(Life in Camella Homes is) Relaxing, walang nangugulo, at may privacy. Dito home na home ka.”
Also, Godiva Zambarrano, a resident of Lessandra said, “Life in Camella is peaceful and happy. Wala gid gamo ang mga neighbors.”
It is fun, festivity, generosity, gratitude, and talent all in the same event. It is only found in the National Camella Day in Iloilo. It was the kind of Saturday that echoed proud and loud voices screaming, “Taga-Camella ako!”/PN
