ILOILO City – The WVPRISAA men’s basketball team, represented by NOPSSCEA, is aiming for a gold medal finish in the 2019 National PRISAA which is slated from May 20 to 24 in Davao City.
WVPRISAA team manager Paul Cruz believes Region 6 representatives have the ability to keep in step with competitors.
“This is the strongest basketball team ever formed by WVPRISAA,” Cruz said. “I am hoping this year’s selection will be able to bring home the National PRISAA crown and deliver the championship to the province.”
The squad, which is composed of players from Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias, STI-West Negros University, La Consolacion College-Bacolod and University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, is to be handled by head coach Elvis Atinado.
Leading the way for the WVPRISAA team are Jeffrey Manday of CSAV, Renz Solomon of STI-WNU, Patrick Dave Yulo of UNO-R, and Kurt Sudayon of LCC-Bacolod.
