NBA playoffs: Miami grabs 3-0 edge vs Indiana

MIAMI Heat is one victory away from eliminating the Indiana Pacers in their 2019-2020 National Basketball Association (NBA) playoff series (Eastern Conference) after winning Game 3, 124-115, on Saturday (Sunday in the Philippines).

It was Jimmy Butler’s 27 points, Goran Dragić’s 24 marks, Bam Adebayo’s 22 points and 11 rebounds, and Tyler Herro’s 20 marks that gave Miami the 3-0 edge in the showdown.

Top Western Conference team Los Angeles Lakers, meanwhile, is now 2-1 up in their playoff showdown with Portland Trail Blazers after defeating the latter 116-108. LeBron James waxed with 38 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists for the victors.
In another Eastern Conference encounter, Milwaukee Bucks slammed Orlando Magic, 121-107, to grab the 2-1 lead in their playoff series. Milwaukee star Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded 35 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists.
The NBA uses the best-of-seven series format for its playoffs. First team to achieve four wins advances to the next round. All playoff games are still in the first round./PN
