ANTHONY “T.J.” Warren dropped a career-high 53 points during the Indiana Pacers’ first game of the 2019-2020 National Basketball Association (NBA) season restart to lift the team past Philadelphia 76ers, 127-121.

The small forward Warren – acquired by the Pacers from the Phoenix Suns in exchange for cash considerations – came up with clutch conversions down the stretch on Saturday night (Sunday in Manila) to enable his team to snag the fifth spot in the Eastern Conference with a 40-26 win-loss card.

Aaron Holiday added a double-double performance of 15 points and 10 assists, Victor Oladipo also finished with 15 markers while Doug McDermott and TJ McConnell registered 10 points each for Indiana.

Joel Embiid finished with a double-double output of 41 points and 21 rebounds while Tobias Harris chipped in 30 markers for the 76ers who currently sits sixth place in the East for having a 39-27 win-loss record.

Meanwhile, Paul George drained eight triples and finished with 28 points while Kawhi Leonard added 24 markers for Los Angeles Clippers that prevailed over New Orleans Pelicans, 126-103.

Toronto Raptors, on the other hand, came alive in the second half to wallop Los Angeles Lakers, 107-92. Kyle Lowry waxed hot with 33 points while OJ Anonuby added 23 markers for the defending champions.

In other NBA games results, Miami Heat slammed Denver Nuggets, 125-105, via Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo’s 22 points each while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander tallied 19 points to lead Oklahoma City Thunder past Utah Jazz, 110-95.
