NBTC Bacolod leg: SJI, CSAV, Tay Tung still unbeaten

BACOLO City – Heading into the final day of eliminations tomorrow at the Bacolod Bays Gym, three teams kept their unblemished slate in the Bacolod leg of the SM/Chooks to Go NBTC Tournament.

St. John’s Institute Baby Falcons kept its hold on the top spot in Bracket A with a 3-0 win-loss record following victories over La Consolacion College-Bacolod (113-91) and University of St. La Salle (88-85).

Colegio de Santa Ana de Victorias, meanwhile, is also on top of Bracket B with a 4-0 record after scoring wins against the Living Stones International School (97-92) and Negros Occidental High School (113-92).

Bacolod Tay Tung High School Thunderbolts, on the other hand, is tied with the CSAV in the Bracket B standing after wins over Sum-ag National High School (91-55) and Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod (86-53).

Behind SJI in Bracket A standings were La Consolacion College (3-1), Colegio San Nicolas Tolentino-Recoletos (3-1), University of St. La Salle (1-3), Escalante National High School (1-3), and Maranatha Christian College (0-3).

Behind CSAV and BTTHS in Bracket B, meanwhile, were Living Stones (2-2), Sum-ag National High School (1-3), Colegio San Agustin – Bacolod (1-3) and Negros Occidental National High School (0-4).

The final day of the eliminations for the Bacolod City leg is slated this Saturday with the semifinals and championship round scheduled on Sunday./PN
