Nearly 100 4Ps parent-leaders enroll in SSS in Bacolod City

NEARLY 100 women Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) parent -leaders showed interest to enroll in the Social Security System (SSS) during the conduct of the “Sulit Barangay Forum” held at the Annex Building of the New Government Center in Bacolod City.

SSS Acting vice president Visayas West One Division Dr. Lilani Benedian said the group agreed to pay P385 monthly or P13 per day.

She promised that for convenience, the SSS staff will go to a mutually agreed venue to collect the membership fee to give ease to the women in falling in line at the SSS office to pay for their membership fee.

Eventually, when the group becomes fully established, SSS ID photo capturing will also be done at the place of their choice, she added.

Being parent-leaders, Benedian urged them to be SSS advocates by sharing the benefits and privileges one can have in becoming a member.

“Please encourage other ‘Pantawid’ members to join SSS. This is saving for your own future,” she said.

During the program Josephine Sombilla, SSS Acting assistant manager-Bacolod Branch discussed the programs of SSS that include sickness, maternity, disability, death, funeral, salary loan and retirement.

After her talk, she said she received about 100 E1 SSS personal record forms that they hope to finish processing by Friday.

“Sulit” is an SSS led activity in partnership with the Department of Social Services and Development and the Philippine Information Agency.
